King (Eddy) & Queen for a day…

Ahhhh love…is there anything better in the whole wide world? I have said it before and I will say it again – I really do have an awesome job. I have been looking forward to this wedding since October 2010 when I first met Caitlin & Greg (they were referred to me by another favourite...

Celebrating An Anniversary AND The Gorgeous Gown

Sometimes as a photographer I get to meet couples who are just relentlessly in love (that always makes me smile) – actually it happens almost every time and it is a big part of the reason I love what I do.
The featured couple today was just like that. I didn’t actually shoot their wedding but...

My Life: Foaling Season 2011 @ OKS

Spring is in the air and aside from the lovely sunshine and slightly warmer temperature I have another reason to celebrate the season…foals. My family has a lovely farm east of Toronto where we breed, raise and train Standardbred horses. After a tenuous four-week wait we finally welcomed our first of nine foals last night...

Sharon & Kalman…on the eve of love

Well things at Flirt and with my life in general sure have been busy lately. For those of you who don’t know me personally, I moved! That’s right…I now count myself among the millions of other crazy folks who own real estate. I’m still getting settled and unpacking (and having furniture delivered, assembled, repaired, replaced,...

Fairytales do come true…

First off I have to acknowledge a serious lack of blogposts lately…sorry my faithful readers. I have been shooting every weekend in the months of September and October and trying to stay on top of processing and album designs for my lovely clients. But alas, I found myself with time this evening to finally share...

Sensational Summer

As the season of summer comes to a close (officially tomorrow) I am sharing a different kind of summer today…my dear friend Summer Sills. Those of you who have followed my blog regularly may remember Summer (albeit as a blonde) from last year when I took some portraits for her on a special mother-daughter day....

The third time is the charm…

Hello faithful readers…so sorry for the lack of posts but I have been too busy shooting (it IS after all wedding season!) to regularly sit down and write for you.
Tonight, I would like to introduce Suzanne & Pete. These two lovely folks are tying the knot country-style on a private farm later this month. It may be...

Beautifully Blended…

Friday July 30, 2010 was a great day! I had been looking forward to this wedding for months. I first met the bride Tamsen in the Fall of 2009 when we discussed her wedding and my photography services. We clicked right away (no pun intended) and I immediately felt she was a sincere, sweet and sensitive person…I was right!
